You are being ridiculous for not recognizing the good job he is doing. This team lost Northwestern and UCLA (two of the worst teams in the BIG) and lost its starting QB just before Smith took over. This team is finally playing like it should have been playing at the beginning of the year. He turned this team around.
But let’s be consistent, stupid unnecessary roughness penalties….Franklin would get blamed for that.
The team loves playing for Terry Smith, that is obvious.

I donr advocate for Terry to get the job, but he is >>>>>>>>>>>>Franklin. Got both lines playing hard, simplified the defense, passing game going vertical occasionally. Simple stuff, looks way better irrespective of the competition.
Don't have too big of a problem with the offsetting Unsportsmanlike penalties. Don't need cheap shots. Might as well nip it early.
Terry Smith has taken control and has this team playing inspired football. Give him his props and the players for not packing it in.
So I’m quite sure if he doesn’t get the PSU job then another P4 team will pay him $8 million to run their program.
Yeah, I’ve kind of felt that way about many others for the past 11 years…welcome to the party.
He's done nothing in all honesty--I'm glad he likely gets a couple wins but he has a huge talent advantage--he should win.
This team lost to UCLA and Northwestern because of coaching--being better than Franklin this year isn't an impressive feat. He was fired for a reason.
If this was your only expectation before the year I don't know what to say.
Again, Franklin destroyed this team--Smith is doing a nice job but if he's the HC we've failed miserably.
Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way to search for such an item??

Wow. MRob saying players staying if Smith gets the job. He’s also advocating for it also. Do the recruits come back if Smith is named HC? He has been a key recruiter for PSU.
That wasn’t just a recommendation, that was pleading for TS.
