He threw into triple coverage. Let that sink in.
Right--that's what QBs do sometimes when they trust their arm too much--he thought he could fit it in. Horrible decision--he needs to learn from it--like all QB take years and years to be finished products--none are in college.

It’s not only drew. It’s the chunk plays the defense gave up, the playing of singleton Over Allen , the a$$ play calling etc etc.

I did say to my dad two weeks ago. I think we lose to Oregon and beat OSU in Columbus. Sadly I was right about Oregon. Hopefully I’m right about OSU.

I just want to win one of these types of games.
We had our chance. Up 24-17. Get a stop and we win. I thought the defense would do it but we just can't close big games. So when you lose every big game you have no confidence in your ability to win them. Jim Knowles stunk in OT. Should donate some of his money to charity. And Andy stunk until the fourth quarter.

The better team won tonight, but I’m proud of our guys. They fought hard.

PSU just isn’t on the same level as the elite programs. That’s become obvious.

No shame in that. We just have to ease our expectations in these games.
That is BS. Take away that stupid overturned fumble and we win.

Yes, Allar has to take the blame at the end, but the defense needed to keep oregon out of the end zone in the 1st OT. PSU had all of the momentum and was defending at the student end of the field. Didn’t make the plays.

We lost for many reasons
-defense couldn't get a stop in OT
-our offense was nonexistent for 3 quarters
-Singleton keeps taking carries away from Allen
-Hack made a horrible decision/throw
-Franklin just can't win big games

Lots of issues with this team. They fought back late but there are many glaring deficiencies which never get corrected.

The O line is a mess. WRs have trouble getting open and can’t block to save their lives. Allar continues to make poor throws in big situations. The defense continues to lose receivers in big situations and give up crucial plays at key moments.

The coaching is so fearful in big games that they turtle up.

If they had played all game like the 4th quarter they likely win this game. It’s another self inflicted injury IMO.

I would have gone for 2 at the end … yeah, yeah … home team plays for OT, visitors go for 2 … but, here, we had the Ducks reeling. Would have wanted to put them away before they had a chance to regroup.

The defense was on the field for an enormous amount of the game. That’s a big ask.

Exactly. We had our chance and our highest paid coordinator and his players failed. We had them 4th and 1 and failed too in OT.
Our defense never closes our big games. Never. Oregon's defense closed it out. That's the way it works.
