Please use this thread for all pre-game, in-game, and post-game discussion of the Penn State - Oregon game, which is the White Out game for the 2025 season.

Sorry for the delay in posting this -- I've been babysitting a grandchild all day (who is appropriately attired for the game).

We Are ...

- excited to see how PSU will do in their first big challenge of the season
- curious to see how much of an impact the crowd will have on Oregon
- expecting the visuals from the game (on the TV while viewing from a couch) will be spectacular
- hoping that the football team, and many other PSU squads, have success with the recruits they're hosting for the game/day
- expecting to be celebrating a PSU victory at the end of the evening!

In the PSU radio pregame show, they just reported from the field that there is no wind, and just the slightest feeling of moisture (mist) in the air.

When did sports announcers start yelling their fool heads off now during pre-game like its a UFC cage match? Every game that I watched today, on different networks, the football announcers were yelling and yodeling at max volume constantly. That didn't used to be the norm even last year.

Penn State wins the toss. They defer, and will take the ball in the 2nd half, and will kick so that Oregon starts with the student section to their back. LOL
