Done with your tongue washing already? The game barely ended. Aren't you oxygen deprived ?
A wise man once said:

You’re obsessed with Franklin’s genitalia, and man on man love. And it comes out when you’re drinking and emotional.

Work that out on your own time.

Prove Oregon eased up. That‘s nonsense. There was a ton of time on the clock. You really think a coach like Lanning eases up?
It was a stupid mistake on his part and he will probably learn from it, unlike other coaches. After they went up 14 he was yelling “it’s over”, he did the throat slash gesture, and his defense went into a soft zone on our next drive instead of continuing to play man and challenging Drew to beat them. They absolutely eased up. Everyone in the stadium thought it was over because we hadn’t even crossed their 30 at that point.

I hear you. First time starter in Oregon’s offense. This also shows how important overall roster talent is.

His supporting cast at Oregon is likely head and shoulders better than at UCLA. That also helps him play better.
Agree. I have no idea why he went to UCLA.

Did you watch the game? Its nothing short of a miracle it went to OT.
It doesn’t matter how it happened, the fact that it did happen is all that matters. We played poorly and still went into double OT. That’s a bigger slam on Oregon than it is on PSU.

This is not rocket science stuff. Anyone who watched this game could clearly see the Oregon was the better team. They were more physical, faster and simply bigger than the Nits. And they made plays when they needed them. They certainly deserved to win. I'm not going to find fault with our team for losing to a better team. We simply need to recruit better players and be better. Bottom line.
Oregon has certainly recruited better than PSU but PSU still has players from the #6 class of 2022, they're more experienced, and the game was at home. That's why we were favored. This was supposed to be the year. What do you think it's going to look like next year without Allar, Allen, Singleton, Harris, DDS, etc?

But it did, and we were very effective in the fourth. It wasn’t luck. It wasn’t because Lanning let up. A coach like him doesn’t let up. Wish we could have been effective a little sooner.

Did he let up on Oklahoma State? He doesn’t let up. He slashed throat to say theyre done, go for blood.

We did but what does this loss actually mean in the grand scheme? Just people will continue to complain until Ohio State...
It means we fall in the rankings and 9-3 is possible which means we miss the playoffs. Even if we make the playoffs we don't get a good seed unless we beat OSU.

Well then that was pretty impressive that we were able to go over the top of the soft zone for that TD pass, huh?

And what about the 2nd TD, when the game was on the line? More soft zone? That wouldn’t make any sense.

I cant disagree with you. But this still ended in another big game L. Too little too late in the 4th. Bottom line is all that matters. And this is a big L on a white out night.

Franklin force going into 3rd overtime having to defend this moral victory. Love your loyalty to the guy, but he can’t put it all together. It’s very clear that “close” is as good as he is going to get you. I don’t know why exactly, but it just isn’t in the cards for him as a head coach at PSU. Good man, good coach. He just won’t be mentioned with the elite of his generation and unfortunately that’s what it takes to win at this level.

The offense stunk for three games against cupcakes. No surprise it stunk for three quarters against a legit team. Drew should have moved on after ND and Franklin should have encouraged it. He’s not a fit for this offense and the play calling is too inconsistent and, honestly, dumb for a drop back QB who isn’t a gun slinger that can improvise. Let’s put Drew at WR for a play while we drive down the field for our life! Please.

Our defense looks stout, assuming we can get some DL in here (or the existing ones step in and up). Offense could be a rebuild, but, according to many, that could be a good thing, since this one is full of overrated poo.

The potential good news is, with NIL and the transfer portal, we could expedite the rebuild, if handled correctly.

We did not “play poorly”, we were pushed around.

So an OT loss makes you think we're going to be 9-3?
Ohio State won a title as an 8 seed beating SEC Oregon SEC to reach the final. Just get it and take care of business.

Eeyore, you predicted doom and gloom all last year, too. Watch out for this team. We could lose to that team. We could have 4 losses and miss the playoffs. And on and on. And then we lost in the last moments of the national playoff semifinal.

I am thinking that we will be in a total rebuilding mode. With a new coach. The psychological damage to this program is deep and it will take a while to exorcise the soft, tent-folding mentality. Will need a tough, old school coach. Might be a young guy.

I just don't get how you can look like garbage for 3.5 quarters when you have 2 weeks to prepare and the other team had 5 days
It’s sometimes harder to get back up and running at game speed when you have more time off. Remember how the playoffs unfolded last year, and folks were complaining that the top seeds actually suffered due to their byes?

Im not the one defending the moron. You are. Ball washer.
I hope you work out your manifest and latent mental issues. You might be able to progress beyond the emotional maturity of an insecure failed 13-year old bully.
