I didn't think so. The angle showed them facing dead on with each other.

That doesn't matter though with the blind-side block...it's not like a block in the back. What matters is where they are looking. You can't blow up someone that doesn't see it coming, and the Rutgers defender had his eyes on the ball and never saw that block coming.

Thankfully it didn't matter in the end.

I hate being that way but he looked like an elementary school kid playing against varsity high school. He just gets tricked by every blocker.

You are right, but I hate that call. What is Pena supposed to do there? Tell the guy to look at him? It’s just a bad, subjective rule, like targeting.
