I was thinking they should make Franklin the Nittany Lion mascot, and the OC and DC sideline cheerleaders. Finish out the season with whatever you can cobble together and go from there.
While I am not arguing....just remember James must appro f e the game plan....and again I ask why was James holding the offense play card? Just like UCLA was a vastly different team today and the only difference was coaching.

This entire team has completely regressed. The QB, RB, Oline, entire defense and special teams have gone backwards. No one on this team has gone forward. That falls completely on JF. No questions about it. He is and should be held accountable. It's time to make a change. Everyone has grown tired of JF and I think he is ready for a change of scenery. It would be good for everyone.
This is what makes me feel to much headline reading....they felt invincible. For as much as cjf receives praise for receuiting, has he ever in 11 years been top 5? I believe his average is 14. Reason to play 1 OOC game against good competition this

I am a fan of a rival fan base. I promise I'm not here to troll and that's from the heart. I've watched Penn State ruin and not develop good talent for far too long. A fan base deserves better than you guys have been given. I just posted this on Facebook. Hope you guys get the change you deserve.

Ahhh, the Bard would empathise with us on our day's lament.....

Watch the replays. something was wrong.
Players were not trying, total lack of effort.

The story will come out.
I've never seen a game with players just loafing.
Somebody knows something.

So here’s my take as a teacher who has had to put up with education becoming so data obsessed and driven….. I use data from testing to help fine tune my teaching….not dictate it. I get a feel for how much and what depths my students can handle. I think CJF is so into data and analytics that he has lost sight of how it is to coach. If the data say to do one thing, but you’re down to a walk on LB or something, maybe you don’t go with the data on that play. I’m seeing in education the same kind of demise….go with data but student scores are getting worse. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for this perspective. Obviously everyone who is a fan of baseball knows well of what you say. I think you are pretty accurate.

You could tell they were only going through the motions. The worst I saw was late as PSU was trying to come back and UCLA was driving for a TD. Their Qb was running to the corner endzone literally right at PSU #4 (IIRC). He was 1 yard from the goal line in the end zone but just stood there watching the UCLA qb come right at him to score. He didn’t even take 1 step forward to try and stop him. He just watched. He should be taking serious heat in practice tomorrow. I’m sure there’s plenty more in that same boat but that really stood out to me yesterday.
