Winner gets free chat for life and some Internet cred points. Questions are:

1) What regional does MSU get?
2) Does LSU host?
3) Is OM a national seed?

At the very least one more. We really wet the bed against Arkansas. Don't get me started on the midweek games...

1) Indiana... Saw this as a possibility in the CL today and think the committee would probably like to send a good traveling fan base to that site. Plus it would be a rematch from Omaha.

2) yes

3) no

Perfect game
Has lsu as number 8 this morning instead of om

Never understood in baseball or hoops why rpi and sos are both
Considered when sos is 75% of rpi

Here's what you need to know...

First, i live in Houston, Tx. My stupid brother is getting married (for the third 17ing time) in St. Louis next weekend. this means we will be in the Rice regional since I can't be there.

furthermore, we will make the college World Series again and you have me to thank. Last year, i departed for China the day after we beat Oregon stats to open up the CWS. This week, i just booked another work trip to Australia leaving on June 14th.... So, since Ill be missing this too, we will most likely get there too.

you are all welcome.

I don't think they're considered so much as they're just talking points for the media. Honestly think RPI is about 90% of it and the rest is mostly consideration of 1) conference standing, which can keep a high RPI team like Texas out, and 2) geography, which can give a low RPI team like Washington a shot at hosting.

Nonconference SOS, Bad Losses, Good Wins, etc... it's all in the RPI.

Saw in the CL that we are 7-5 vs RPI top 25, and 12-5 vs top 50.

Those 5 losses are against UM and LSU. 2 wins are against UM. 1 win vs SC this week. Who are the others that we are 9-0 against?

/maybe their numbers aren't right.

Those numbers aren't even close. 10-14 vs Top 50, 14-4 vs 51-100, 8-2 vs 100s, 5-2 vs 200+ according to warrennolan.com. LSU, OM, Vandy, SC, UF, and UK are all teams we've played in the top 25.

1. ULL
2. Definitely, probably 6-8 seed.
3. No. If they hadn't beaten Vandy they'd be sweating bullets over hosting at all.

I was really just joking. Of course you have to go, and are going even if you didn't have to. Glad to see that your relationship with your siblings is like mine is. A lot of people aren't so lucky.

They were a lock to host before this week. They have a solid resume, so I'm not pretending at all they might not have hosted if vandy beat them.

If they had lost, they would have been sweating it out today whether you were confident or not. Their resume is nothing special.

They would have been sweating it out, but they probably would have still hosted even if they had lost to Vandy. It's just hard to move up or down very much in the conference tournaments.

1) Miami (with Cal state Fullerton as our #3 seed)
2) Yes (obviously, since we've now already been told)
3) No
