All I know is that hope is the real killer. Two teams from PA had their seasons ended yesterday. I am not bothered by it because we all know the Steelers suck and will lose. Eagles fans are probably salty AF right now. The difference? Hope. It's the worst.

PA has football problems. A once-proud football state (I think there was pride there once) is hurting from end to end. Is there enough better to go around?

9-3 = 1-6
10-3 > 1-6. The Eagles got whipped by teams they are absolutely better than. Arizona, Giants. Four-win WFT took Philadelphia to overtime at the Linc, that was absolutely a harbinger of their troubles to come. Philadelphia has some serious internal issues, bad dynamics. I did not see that coming at all. Those kinds of problems are hard to fix and Kelce is retiring.

I had no confidence in the Eagles winning last night after that stretch. It's the same way I felt about PSU prior to the UM game. What type of radical change in the O could anyone have expected that would suddenly work against a strong D like Michigan's. Just wasn't happening. Just like the old investing mantra, "The trend is your friend."
