thank you Kyle Flood for your 11 years service to Rutgers. Thank you for keeping the 2012 class together. Thank you for being the only member of the 2011 staff to not go to Tampa.

Edit: thank you for the Big East championship and the Lambert Trophy.

We wish you success in your future endeavors. If there is anything I can do to help you in your new employment, please don't hesitate to ask. It's the least I can do.

Dear "Coach" Flood,

You're welcome for RU not firing you in 2010 even though your OL was a disaster. You're welcome for giving you a job that you are not qualified for. You're welcome for letting you stay in the position for 4 long years. And finally, you're welcome for the $1.4 million as you exit stage left.

Thank you for turning Rutgers into a laughingstock again when we were at least deemed respectable. Thank you for the embarassing games (including this one) and blowouts....Thank you for your stubborness and not giving Rettig a fair shake at QB...Thank you for giving NJ.com stories for days....I will be so thankful when you are f'n gone!

ETA: Thanks for helping to give the T(w)erps over 600 yards of offense...a 1st for them since 2004...yay!

Actually it should be a thank you letter in the reverse way which should indicate thank you for making me a rich man when I am simply a position coach at a one AA level that ihas been given an opportunity for which I did not deserve

Always gave him credit based on the assumption he was a decent man, but try as I may I can no longer find one redeeming feature as a D1 head football coach.

But he turned out not to be a decent man.. His selfishness and stupidity caused us national embarrassment

He may not have received the compliance training, but he knew what he was doing was wrong.

I'm sure Rutgers would be glad to give an amazingly glowing recommendation should Penn State, Syracuse, UCONN, Temple, or anyone in the B1G East ever ask about Kyle as head coach.

No thanks to Flood. As far as I'm concerned, he has stolen from the university. Almost nowhere else do you continue to make this salary while having no accountability and being totally incompetent.

Thanks for yet another reminder of why America remains such a great country where sheer incompetence can be handsomely rewarded...fail as OL coach, fail as co-OC, and fail as HC...he should find a different profession to show his stubborn incompetence....when GS left it was telling that his meathead was the one who didn't land in Tampa....almost undoing what GS did...

Thank you for settling for Big East co-championship during a down year for the Big East. If it wasn't for you humility, we probably would have won that one game we needed to win it all and left a bunch of fanbases with such low self-esteems. You were truly kind and purposefully reduced a conference championship into a collection of participation trophies. Truly you will be missed.
