Who cares. Walk the course early in the morning and then park on the hill to the right of the 16th green (if looking towards the 16th tee). From there you can watch 6, 15, and 16 (where the party always is). Wish I was going this year.

I realize he has every damn right to come back when he pleases, but coming back at Augusta it totally disrespectful to The Masters, and the other players. Let The Masters be The Masters .. not "The Masters and Tiger Woods' Return".

With that said, I still wish he would have just gone to the dark side. Tell the media the 17 off, wear sunglasses, dark clothes, smoke on the course, never give press conferences, and win every damn tournament he enters. THAT would be drama. Everyone knows his apology was complete ********. I saw a facebook post over this weekend that said "saw Tiger Woods at the Blue Martini in Tampa over the weekend .. let's just say rehab ain't workin'".

1. why would you expect him to miss a major tournament? i don't. the folks at Augusta will have record breaking numbers of people watching, the PGA will be glad to finally have high viewership again, and this is one of the best run tournaments in the country. i don't find this disrespectful at all to the Masters or the other players.

2. shirley you don't believe everything you see on facebook posts?

Tiger and Jesper Parnevik are in the final pairing on Sunday and that Tiger crushes him.

The Masters will probably control the media and the gallery for Tiger's return. Not to mention that it's tough as hell to just get in the gallery, so he's a lot less likely to be heckled by them, as they're probably rich white dudes who cheat on their wives too. I doubt Hootie lets some women's lib group in the gates to protest/heckle.

/from the Masters tournament space on the official Jump to Conclusions mat.</p>

i asked my wife if we could have a bikini model as our nanny but she told me no. i think Jesper must have something on his old lady, like millions of dollars and a big house.

If Tiger wants a tournament where they won't spend the whole time talking about him and they'll spend the whole time talking about the golf, it's the Masters. The Masters won't allow the broadcast to veer very far off the subject of golf for very long.

A lot of crazy things have gone on at the Masters before, like Martha Burke trying to get people to quit advertising due to no women being allowed memberships at Augusta. They responded by just eliminating commercials from their broadcast that year and never made mention of her or NOW during the tournament. I think they can broadcast Tiger without spending the whole time turning it into an episode of Entertainment Tonight. Any other tournament and they'd spend the whole time talking about his return and his personal life, but not at the Masters.

it's a distraction to the other players, with it being his first tourney back.

and yes, I do believe everything I read on facebook.

also, it may actually take away some of the attention from the other players because everyone will be following Tiger so closely. i would love to be in the final group on Sunday for the masters and have Tiger playing five or six groups ahead of me.

the only thing the players need to worry about is possibly losing to him. the masters will take care of the crowd better than most tournaments (as already stated in this thread).

finally, i bet there are many of the guys on the tour who would be quick to tell you that they want to win the masters without having people place an asterisk by their name because Tiger was down in MS for sex addiction counseling rather than competing. i am sure they could live with it but just sayin.

actually. Some of his comments were a little too "controversial" for the Masters Greenhairs.

Which was kinda the point of the sarcasm.

<reporting from 12> "Jim, you gotta admire the wayhe handles his driver. No one can make his balls move like Tiger!"
