If Fletcher is the least talented of the six freshmen and eight newcomers, then it’s going to be a fun year.
Yeah not much to complain about that half. Everyone contributed, obvious promise on defense, length is showing it’s ability to disrupt. Better than I expected, certainly lots of room to improve but for a bunch of newbies on their first time out, fantastic start.
Pat Bradley looks like a weirdo pedophile.
Jackson is what Wenyen Gabriel should’ve been.

I’m not going to overreact to fletcher vs more head but.....he is active, is playing with good control and looks like he knows his role. Already looks better than Whitney and Mathews in his first game than either of them looked in dec/January. (I previously said I could see his freshman year going like theirs)

Ware is the only guy who looked like a freshman so far, but that’s the only nitpick I can think of.
That Toppin-Fletcher frontcourt lineup was interesting. I like the idea of Fletcher as a small ball 4. His athleticism and frame allows him to play much bigger

This team is looking good on offense. Clark really looks like a good player. Glad to see Allen out there playing. Allen will get a lot of buckets for this year. Glad Cal letting them play through mistakes.
Since were at halftime......That Boston College vs Villanova matchup tonight looks pretty intriguing for an upset. BC is bringing back quite a bit of scoring from last year and they have experience. Sucks we don't get to see Baylor vs Arizona State.
Hope the SEC is as good as they think. That competition will set us up well for the tournament.
We have two legit wings. Allen looks good. Fletcher is way better than expected. Sarr/Jackson didn’t even get to do much. Askew looks nice. Mintz was a great pickup. I really love the makeup of this team. Glad to see even Ware is getting some PT and Brooks will be back. I like my team!
Would like to see us start the half throwing it down low to Sarr. Think cal will probably do it

He literally got doubled or tripled every time on offensive end . Offense leads to defense . Give him a break

Brooks is out. Sarr / Jackson out early in foul trouble. We still up 45 - 26 color me Not worried
so far, this team isn't playing down to the competition (see UNC V Charleston), and seems capable of putting their foot on an opponents neck. Two traits we've lacked in early seasons past.

If Allen concentrates on defense he will be in rotation. That said WE ARE DEEP
