How has the officiating been as awful in the East as it has been in the West this year? It has truly been horrendous. I have not seen but one game this year that has been without just crazy calls.
The game last night with GW and Galax was as bad as what I have seen at Grayson. If Galax didn't have 20 flags against they didn't have any.

I didn't hear any complaints last week about all the flags at Grayson when Richlands played there - they must've been good calls.

I am assuming you are being sarcastic. I totally agree it has extremely bad this year. Just plain awful to be honest. The Grayson game for us was just sad it was so bad. So was last night.

They seem more agressive indeed. But this is the playoffs and it should be, plus you get 2–3 more officials on the field, more eyes to see the infractions.

Haha I have no problem them calling more, it's the ones they miss that bother me more.

I know what you mean but I don’t ever give the officials too much flak because it takes someone special to do what they do in today’s environment. Just listen to some of the fans, Chilhowie’s is horrible for that, if you want Chilhowie fans to get involved in the game, just throw a flag.

In my opinion, officiating here in the Valley has not really been that bad this year. But I do see one thing happen about 3 or 4 times a year that drives me up the wall. A team will run a play that is obviously close to being a first down. So instead of leaving the ball exactly where it was spotted and calling for a measurement, they will PICK IT UP, toss it around between two or three of them, and THEN call for the measurement!!!! GRRRR!!!!
