This was simply one of the worst officiated games that I have ever seen. Yes there were legitimate penalties, but alot were poor or missed calls. What conference was this crew from?

I agree there were a few holding calls on us where there was simply no holding. These refs need to realize we have that big *** screen to look at for replays.

We had two 3rd downs on one series of downs but we converted the second one (which should have been 4th) so it didn't matter in the end. Also, I think late in the game we should have had a 1st and 25 but they lined us up at 1st and 10. I may be wrong on the second one but if you earn a 1st down on a play then get a personal foul after the play, shouldn't it be 1st and 25?

And just about every time McPhee got past his man to run to the QB, he's having to pull the OT hanging on to his shirt tail.

Officiating just plain sucked. I think after a while they got tired of all the complaining that was surely happening on the field and then started calling penalties left and right...the penalties that were nothing calls. Those refs sucked missing calls and then inventing fouls when they wanted to start making calls.

A dead ball foul (after the play) gets tacked on to whatever happened after the play and down & distance gets sorted out. So you spot the ball & down as whatever it would have been without the penalty. Then mark off the penalty without changing the down.

watching a lot of the replay (I didn't watch all of it) the flags dropped for holding were quite legitimate. We have to learn to hold more discreetly. They were too obvious not to call. Mullen's mouth could be read on one of the them....."that was stupid". He was right.

At home where they show good replays, every single one of the holds on us were very very obvious (mostly on the WR's). I am guessing the ones on the jumbotron weren't as good.

I agree. Our holds were obvious holds, to the point where you wondered what our guys were thinking. They were all there to see in crystal clear HD.
