If the furry little bastard was dancing in the window, I could see your problem. Otherwise, it's a bit hard to keep rats away from a place where food is frequently spilled on the ground.

Edit: Your camera phone fuzziness is inconclusive. I contend that is not a rat, but a pile of **** left by one of the many bums in and around Meridian. That would be more of a reason for me not to go there.

</p>I assure you it was a rat and not a pile of ****. It was hard to tell, but it also appeared that the rat came from inside the restaurant before busting into his rendition of Rag Time Gal in the parking lot.

Mice are harder to keep out because they can fit into extremely small holes, cracks, etc. I don't think big boy there has that luxury.

Of course, he may have opened the door himself.

This makes me want to keep a pellet gun in my truck.

I'd be willing to say that 95% of restaurants have rats outside.

I take that back 100% - check out the dumpsters
