Pin it to the top until he chimes in. Would hate for this to slip to page 2 and he never see it.

So you're saying he's earned his own very special title on here?

I don't think he claimed to have info. He just said he had a feeling he wouldn't sign with State.

Obviously he learned from Yancy ...

and he was just throwing a 'curve ball.'

yancyporter... Folks, please remember this, I am a Johnny Rebel at heart and will put up some info sometimes just to throw a curve ball to the competition. I did it before and I am about to do it again. I will explain why later but you can rest assure it is to mess up you know who:)

I even admitted I didn't have any info. But I certainly felt like we'd lost him. Sneaking off to Oxford, lying to MSU reporters, it certainly had the appearance of a regular five alarm fire. I'm ecstatic we held onto him. I honestly don't get too worked up over recruiting for the most part. The Kailo Moore's and Deon Mixes are a dime a dozen. I'm sure they're fine players and can be coached up into really good football players. But I don't know why I should want Kailo Moore anymore than Donald Gray. But it seems pretty clear that Chris Jones is a program-changing talent with Clowney-type potential. Kudos to Mullen for the sell-job he did on Mama. He was an absolute can't-lose recruit for us, and Mullen got it done. I'm glad to eat as much crow as anyone wants to serve and am happy to play the part of the fool. I still contend this thing was all kinds of shady. This ranks right up there with Cam Newton on the level of loving to know all the details of what all went down the last month.

I was wrong. It happens. Congrats on signing him.

He told several players he was signing with Ole Miss. We still have a spectacular class without him and Daniels.

The difference in me and Peaches/others is that I don't mind saying I was wrong. I love that so many here are more excited about me being wrong than Jones actually signing.

Can't wait to hear Peaches' awesome story that makes Jones the Greatest Dawg ever.

Apparently the haul of intel from The Library weekend will make him the greatest Dawg ever.

I don't think he said "Greatest Dawg ever"...pretty sure it was "my favorite dawg".
