Awesome win! Defense looks really good! It's especially exciting to have an offense that we have confidence in. They had almost all the answers tonight. We can throw the ball and run the ball. Here's hoping the injury gods are good to us for the full season. This team is capable of going bowling. I'm not saying they will win out. rewatching the game; well actually watching for the first time, had to listen to most of the game and caught end on ESPN.

UK should be in the top 25. This 3rd quarter should be required watching for anyone doubting that. Absolutely dominated A&M on BOTH sides of the ball without flukes. And with authority, just moving the ball at will no matter where it was on the field. I hope we get to see this type of performance for just 3 quarters. Insane quarter.

Lets not forget Stoops had that in the early years too, he just withdrew and became a crumudgeon towards the end as the losses piled up.

Leading 21-7 and having stopped A&M on 4th down in UK territory, is there any doubt that stoops would have played for a FG there? That was stoops biggest downfall IMO, he coached not to lose instead of to win. Steins calls will not always work (the opponent is trying too) but I love steins aggressiveness. Have to remember how young he is in his coaching career as well and he is only going to get better and better. He’s already a better football coach than stoops and this shows on the field.

For sure. I won't accept too much Stoops slander. He left the program in better shape than he found it. He is the most successful coach in program history and led KY to TWO ten win seasons. I seriously thought that was impossible here. He was a steward of the program. He just could not sustain in the end and he graciously restructured his contract to allow UK to sever ties and still be able to go pay his replacement. He deserves some respect.

I think we need to see how good or bad tamu is. I feel like they were a bad team. Don’t get me wrong beating an SEC team on the road that has one of the toughest places to play well that is a feat. If tamu is a playoff contender that win is as big as we have made it to be. But if tamu is a mid-bottom tier sec team. Hopefully we keep getting better without regression. But it’s important to see tamu play someone so we can use that as a measuring stick

Some, but not too much. If he had his way, he’d be leading the program to a decade of 2-9 seasons. Don’t forget that. I don’t think he was gracious at all. That sh$t was forced down his throat.

He had the upper hand legally. He was within his rights to demand all that money in one lump sum just like his contract stated. But he chose to negotiate it in a way that helped KY. Its in the past now and the future looks bright. What's the point of crapping on Stoops every time Stein wins?
