He knows the kids, he knows the summer camps, and he knows how to leave a pitcher in too long. It's a perfect fit.

And the best part is the Diamond Girls like him.

Oh, edit to say Raffo is 1-3, with the one win being two innings with Weatherford and a lead given to him.

I love the fact Ryan Duffo said he wants Raffo, because he doesn't make the guys work hard.

I swear half of this lazy sack of ***** could transfer and i wouldnt give a <17>
I used to laugh and enjoy them, but I'm sick of this **** now.

<17> Duffy, <17> Polk, <17> Raffo, <17> Rice, <17> Sneed, <17> anyone else is a lazy sack of **** and thinks everything is alright.

I swear, come to MSU to play baseball and get some good bar-b-que in the Lounge.

We'll all have a great time! And if we lose, hey. that's just baseball. I know. I wrote a book on it.

I do believe it from talking to a players mother at the Governor's Cup. That was the subtle impression I got, anyway.

it telling about our players along w/the coaches. They really don't want to do w/ever it takes to be a winner, which includes alotta hard work.

I may eat these words but lookin' like we need a Croom to straighten out this baseball program

that Byrne sees this and hears what's going on.

These players are embarrassing the school, and they should be embarrassing themselves, but apparently, they don't give a ****. I'm guessing they get that attitude from their head coach.

I did think they were JUST mentally snakebitten, but after reading some other posts about what these guys say (re: Raffo)-they just don't give a **** about winning. Yeah, it'd be nice to win but lets not work too hard or stay too long.

Ladies and gents, its 2003 all over! Its time for a housecleaning. Leave Nappi (yep, K'd 2x today) and let the rest transfer someplace where ppl don't care.

I'm sure he knows a lot, considering I have heard it multiple times that he has a meeting with the players individually... and as I have said, I have all the faith in the world Greg will do the right thing and find a great coach.. he has been around several of these searches that ended in a productive result, and has a ton of connections.

All I can say is today I sat next to him at the softball game (yes I would rather watch MSU softball then drive to tuscaloosa and watch that ****) feeding him updates, he just shook his had and asked why when I told him polk was ejected.

I have a good feeling that we will be alright when everything plays out.

I forgot his last name but I talked to a freshman redshirt from Jacksonville named Bobby ?, and he said if Cohen got the job 70% of the team would transfer because Cohen is an "*******" and cusses out his players and etc...We need a fiery coach who will make them bust their ***.

I know this is posted in the wrong place, but Yuku wouldn't let me post for some reason.

Stupid ads.

Anyway, studentdawg, You're talking about Bobby Triglia.

Sadly, the 30% that do give a crap are probably the ones that are always hurt.

Also, if we hired Adolf Hitler, I doubt 70% of the team would transfer.

Triglia..I have talked with him a couple times this year, should be a good catcher or 3b for us in the future. Tore his shoulder up during his senior year of baseball season, but is pretty much all better now.

As far as what the players want, I can understand the players don't want change.. they believe solely in what they are told, and truthful i don't have much of a problem in this. I want a skipper who is the leader and the team buys into his system with no doubts from anyone on the team. They are sheep, and thats not all that bad of a thing.

But the problem is when the skipper isn't effective or put confidence into the team.

All I can say is I enjoy talking with and knowing some of the guys on the team, but if some decide they are going to transfer because raffo doesnt get the job. Or they dont't like Cohen because "he's mean and yells at his players"

Then <17> THEM... If you don't have the mentality to work your *** off to be the best, you think you are bigger then the team, that you are entitled to something.
Then get the <17> out of our program and go play some where else you pussies.
I want someone who will come in here and give everyone a swift kick in the *** instead of holding you hand and coddling you because "they are good kids"

No more of the same ****.
Change has to happen, we have been passed by and related to the bottom of the barrell because of stagnant "all is well..we are Mississippi State" attitude.

This is MSU football 2003. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if this bunch of clowns all transfers to Millsaps. Not only is it more suited for their talent level, but we couldn't be any shittier with an entire new roster, so why not? Time for an enema.

He's either demented or he doesn't care as much about winning as he does his legacy (Raffo)

What makes you think Jim Page would want them? Right now, he's a better coach than Polk or Raffo.

Seriously, and this just occured to me, I bet after practice every day Polk makes them gather round, sit cross legged, and listen to stories about how Cohen eats babies and then picks his teeth with their bones. None of these players actually know Cohen, so Polk pretty much has to be their source of information about the guy. And it's obvious what he's telling them.

It's obvious Polk is doing all he can to poison our players aGAINST Cohen. The Legend has flipped his wig and is so hellbent on "Tommy" being his successor that he's essentially slandering one of his own former players to his current team in a twisted attempt to influence the hiring process. I hope GB is smart enough to see through the ******** and do the right thing. I think he will, but I'll be pissed if he lets what our "players" think about a coach they don't even know influence his decision. I think a hardass like Cohen is going to be required to fix this program.
