Ohio St related. Anyone see the 1hr story on Chris Spielmen last night?

Great OSU Linebacker that took time off from the NFL to be with his wife in the middle of his career.

Wife passed back in 2009 after 11 year battle with cancer.

Became a big fan of listening to him in the booth. For a guy who according to the show could not speak in public. High Character individual. Sad story. They raised enough funds while she was sick to build a cancer research center on campus.

Near the very end of the show there is a scene of his children in the kitchen with his wife..and one of the older girls is actually wearing a Block R red Rutgers Cap. Not exactly sure what that connection was.

Anywho..well worth the watch.

Appreciate the kind words about one of our Buckeye heroes. He is a better man than he was a football player. He was an incredible linebacker.

I saw it. That dude was intense and is a man's man. I saw the block R as well. Seemed odd, but it definitely looked like OUR Block R.
