I had a High school teacher whom was a OSU fan and he was a total *******. He was the reason I hate Ohio State. He called Rupp a Racist and Kentucky Basketball a mid major program.

Yeah, they are probably salty because were probably in the room when T-wills lady squirted to the ceiling, LOL
OSU can probably have Richardson if they want him. I'm told that his back is a major concern for the big schools in will he be healthy thru out his careeer? His senior season will play a major roll in his recruitment? If he goes all season and can stay on the field then It will be hard for UK to keep him IMO. Allthough he may say hey Kentucky stood by me when others doubted so there's that also ?

Wow....must have been a rough year for you losing to a garbage OSU BB team this year then...with all those 5* stud recruits you get....
I admit it was disappointing to lose to the buckeyes in a made-for-TV game on a neutral court, but we kicked your *** when it counted - you guys being a #1 seed when we were a #4 seed in the NCAA tournament.

Now - you need get off the internet because your dial-up modem has your parents phone line tied up.

I remember several years back when Tebow got knocked out at Commonwealth Stadium. Meyer referenced how compassionate our fans were throughout that whole process and even at the hospital. He spoke very highly of us as a fanbase. I agree with the poster who stated it's time to take our football program seriously, or we can expect more of the same outside of the state. Things have to get better.

Their league pride isn't any different than ours. It losses me off every year when Car fans are riding Bama's or LSU's sack when they fight for a title. I want every other SEC to fall flat on their faces on bowl games and versus other big school in non conference games. Its embarrassing for us to chant SEC while watching our RIVALS play. I do t care if they all go on probation, that's better for us. I only care about US.
I get what you're saying. The state of bball in the SEC is a perfect example of what happens when the conference is weak though. No matter how many wins you get against those teams, you'll only look like the best of the worst. "A rising tide lifts all ships." I LOVE the fact that ohio state (little o) is losing recruits to not only us, but to the SEC simultaneously. I love to watch them play against their recruits in bowl games, and lose. No matter how big and bad they think they are, the upper echelon SEC teams are confident against them. They might pull out a win against the SEC every once in a while, but the SEC is where its at . . . bar none. The media polls and coaches polls show that annually. We know it - and, more importantly, they know it. One little chant drives them crazy. [roll]

Urban Meyer I would guess would recruit and play and probably turn the cheek to a guy that commits murder, he is that type of guy. OOPS that is true, not alleged. Apparently Urban knew all about the shenanigans in Connecticut and there were gang issues and some whispers that the kid committed a gang land murder before he arrived in Gainesville that many knew about, even some whispers about a murder in Fla area during his time.

Allegedly, Urban Meyer is a great coach but he is one despicable human being. Nick Saban has more class in his pinky than ole Urban, Urban got caught with his pants down a few times, this is why he claimed burnout. He got caught.
IMO

Today in Birmingham I was listening to a local sports show and they were talking about this commitment. Basically they said Why? And them followed up with why would any good recruit go to UK. Sort of tells you the mindset concerning our football program.
My question is: Why would anyone want to live in Birmingham?

OSU has one 5 star QB and another coming next year FYI....Urban Meyer is a master with QB's...like him or not....
THE Ohio State University has a rather piss poor record in terms of placing QBs in the League/ And so does Urban. Yes. there's Tebow who was sort of a success story, but also sort of a bust, but, in general, if I am a high school quarterback with legit NFL potential, I am staying the hell away from Urban and THE Ohio State University.

Alex Smith has had a pretty decent career in the NFL. Regardless, Urban has had a ton of success with QB's in college, which is likely what he's most concerned about.

I have been here since I graduated, my wife was in Pharmacy school at the time at Samford. I was offered a great position and we never moved back after her graduation. Both our parents were in Kentucky so we visited quite often.

My comments were directed toward the talk show guy, not at you and your family. I have a sister that lives in Oakman, Alabama and has since 1971. Congratulations on your great position and having a good family. I certainly didn't mean to be offensive toward you or your family. I apologize if you took it that way.

I did not take it offensive at all, we are cool. Worst part of living in Alabama was no matter how hard I tried my kids grew up Tide fans.

A lot of those comments are accurate - if Richardson, Warren or Hudson get a committable offer from tOSU, it will be hard/impossible for UK to hold onto them. Just an unfortunate fact of life.
Nawwww....You just talkin how about things are now . The recruiting for ohio football talent is shifting somewhat into UK's favor much to the dismay of Meyers.

Young is Proof or at least a clue.

UK is not going to get a higher percentage of the top talent in Ohio than OSU, but they are showing they can get some players OSU wish they had. The fact Meyers would even respond about a UK commit screams some discomfort for OSU about what UK is doing on the ohio recruiting trail. Now That is BIG for UK.
