Turkey Buzzard had hoped that you wouldn't notice, as his entire self-worth is based upon the strength of WVU's non-conference schedule. Never has a fan base cried more about having to play two power conference opponents in its non-conference schedule. Forget the fact that mediocre sPitt is always one of those non-conference opponents. Given the fact that the only two big-name programs have left the Big 12, WVU's non-conference schedule should be harder in future years but instead it's easier. Just wait until WVU is left out of the 12-team playoff field despite a good record because its schedule strength is crappy. The tears will be succulent.

Alabama and WVU "agree" to cancel their home-and-home series, so WVU replaces the Tide on the schedule with Group of 5 juggernauts Coastal Carolina and Southern Mississippi. WVU's 2027 schedule has ZERO Power Four non-conference opponents. I can't wait to see Turkey Buzzard ignore this development.
