And pray for an increase in global demand. I’m not so sure that’s going to drastically materialize.

Rest assured, the service stations that sell non-ethanol gas will still be charging more for it, while in reality it will be much cheaper to produce than ethanol given the current economic climate.

the middle man, speculator is getting squeezed.

He is buying to resale, and does not have the facility to take the oil,

so he has to lay it off, anyway that he can.

this is only wti - cushing so all space is spoken for for may contracts. going to be a lot of folks in the permian hurting soon.

☝🏻There is a station in Pearl advertising $1.17 ethanol gas and $2.89 for non-ethanol. Guess which one we use in the riding mower? And guess which one is the only gas we have bought in 3 weeks?

Nice timing. What’s the likelihood they fold all together?

Low? Moderate? High?

well to be honest, we created the company when oil went down to $11 a barrel in 1998 so our original investment was nothing...we bought up all the leases we could and bought in areas the big boys had left ....stripper wells that produce a few barrels a day ...even some of the legendary fields that were part of Spindletop and the first Texaco fields. I was money guy and built my pro forma on $18 a barrel so our investment has been returned hundreds of times . so they will just shut it down and wait it out.

A few things

-The EIA report tomorrow should be interesting as a report on gas demand and stock builds. We are down 40+% from typical numbers from a demand point of view.
-Storage is packed and demand is falling at a much higher clip than production cuts or storage availability
-We currently have 160mbb estimated in "sea storage"....That number was 100mbbl in 2008 or 2009.
-Point being, when people start driving whether it be tomorrow, next month, or in three, oil still has some factors that should limit the upside.

I'd put my bet on companies with stability like Exxon to eliminate some of the volatility. My bet, it still has room to go down. A "bigly" oversupplied market with limited demand.....and lets say we open up in 3 weeks....how will it trade once a cluster of outbreaks hits the newswire in a state that is open. It will continually come under pressure is my bet.

We are in uncharted waters. Who knows what is going to happen.

You will be driving a Tesla AOC model where you have to stick your feet through the floorboard and get a running start. Everybody will be working at the Rock Quarry.
