hesitate to mention this with some of the hooded posters here, but the scene of oj in a black church, at the pulpit, as a woman sings "oooOOOOooooo jaaaaAAAAAAY" was not a a great look for my people
I don't know, from watching the documentary, they were just elated that a black man beat the system. I'm sure in their minds and from their experiences that they had seen plenty of innocent black men be railroaded into prison or worse. The only problem being, OJ didn't have anything to do with the black community until this happened.

the documentary made it seem like oj was grateful to black people for like six weeks after the verdict. went to church, went on hot 97, went on some weird cable access show with cats in dashikis

he did pick up a pseudo-hood friend or two, but within a few months it was back to the golf course and the white women

true sociopath

not that being with a white woman makes you a sellout

but he was in church talking about how his main concern was going to heaven. months later he's in the club every night hooking up with bimbos

it's possible he's not that good a person

At the same time, there's almost no way that OJ could have killed Ron and Nicole without transferring more blood to the Bronco.
Carry a bag or something with stuff to clean yourself off and a change of clothes. Ditch the bloodied up clothes in a dumpster somewhere. Pretty simple actually.

I believe he did it but it was pretty interesting to find out that:

1) The police detective drew blood from OJ and went straight back to the crime scene

2) The famous blood splatter on the gate that wasn't there the day after the murders

3) They had a full confession from another guy after they had already arrested OJ, but gave him a plea deal on other charges just to get him out of the state so not to screw up the OJ trial

Just seems a little fishy.

I thought the blood on the gate was a reach by the defense to plant doubt. Looked like two different areas on the gate to me.

In the documentary one of their childhood friends said Cowlings love for OJ was beyond friendship, that he would do anything for the man. As a high school student he stepped between someone with a gun and OJ when they were playing a joke on them. I'm sure he loved nicole, but his love for OJ was more. He's the first guy I thought of when I read the excerpt from the book about an accomplice, and who would be so loyal to OJ as to help in a murder.

yea but these were not just murders, you can see by the nature of the bodies they were the result of an angry attack. Whoever it was wanted to do more than just kill these victims. I can't see any evidence of Cowlings having anything to do with this but if he or any other hit man did this, the victims would not be in the shape that they were found in.

OJ did it. If you think otherwise that's on you. He probably has a letter admitting to it and will leave for us once he dies.

I'm not saying OJ didn't do it, I just think it's plausible he had help. Especially since he wrote that he did in the book.

Yep. Pretty certain the first thing any detective would have said at the scene was, "This was personal. The killer knew these two and wanted them dead."

I've never heard whether or not Al had an alibi. If he didn't he might have gone over there with OJ, not knowing what was going down, and witnessed it. Then clammed up out of friendship or fear for his involvement.

If there was help they were basically forced in. Such as he said if she didn't answer the door with a knife she would be alive.

From that I'd say he took the knife, maybe she flipped and went at him since someone else was there to eventually break it up. Then he stabs her and things hit the fan as Ron Goldman pulls up. They hide, Ron walks up and is ambushed.

I guess maybe.......but that is a reach too!

I just think this is something only a crazy man could do, or someone that becomes crazy at certain times. Cowens from all I know about him is just a normal guy. If he had known about Simpson's plan ahead of time, rather than helping him, he would have probably done everything in his power to stop him. That's what a real loyal friend would do IMO.

I thought I had read somewhere that the day after the murders, Kardashian is seen leaving OJs house with a gym bag of sorts. Were the clothes and knife in there?
How were the bodies found? Did neighbors call police after screaming? Kids come down to see their mother dead? I binge watched 4 episodes in a day and couldn't remember.

ITO was an idiot for allowing the trial to turn into a "race" trial, but like someone else said, it didn't matter because this jury admitted they found him not guilty for pay back.

one of them did, the same one that said they only deliberated for 2.5 hours becasue they were tired and wanted to go home.

My take is the jury was looking for any reason to establish reasonable doubt and Cochran and company gave them one.

It would be almost impossible to do all of that in the heat of the moment. Plus, OJ would have had more marks on him from Goldman's defensive actions. If OJ did it alone, then he beat astronomical evidence odds.

What are you basing this on? There was no evidence to suggest this.

And considering this is exactly what happened, you're incorrect.

I'm basing it on the common sense factor that it's almost impossible for a single person to slash two other people to death, almost decapitating one of them, without there being a large amount of blood splatter. The evidence suggests that there was very little blood found in the Bronco, therefore my theory perfectly matches the evidence.

[laughing] Holy crap there are people that still think OJ didn't do it/didn't do it alone.
