I can't recall the last time that I made a prediction before an Ohio State game, and am not going to beg Karma, the biotch, to come knock on my door tomorrow evening.

I'm just glad that our Michigan guy (Duane Washington, Jr.) countered your Ohio guys (Simpson & Teske). I HATE when Ohio guys beat Ohio State, and still want to punch Desmond Howard and Charles Woodson every time that I see them on ESPiN. It will be interesting to see how well Howard does as a coach in the future. He's recruiting like a madman, but has a long way to go to be as good at X's and O's as Beilein.

Ohio State shot out of their minds yesterday. Hell, I think Michigan either led or the game was tied with 7 minutes to go or so. When younger brother banked in a 3 pointer from the top of the key, I figured we were doomed. When older brother banked in a 3-pointer from the top of the key a few minutes later, I knew we were doomed. I think OSU was 11-21 or something like that from 3 point land. Michigan was like 7-26, so easy to do the math. Regardless, I didn't even think Michigan would be a tournament team prior to the season kicking off. They simply don't have a lot of talent, but with this years field, and knowing Michigan can get on a hot stretch, even they can make some noise in the tournament. Hell, if they don't get hot again soon, they may end up playing WVU in one of those 11 vs 11 play-in games.

Unlike some of the delusional WVU fans who pretend that the perimeter bank shots that went in to win tournament games for the Old Fold & Blew were intentional, I know that the Wesson brothers did not mean to bank in their three-point attempts, so let's take away those lucky two shots for discussion purposes. Ohio State still would have won by eight points...with only seven players...against a Michigan squad that was at full strength. Value City Arena has been a house of horrors for Michigan, which is now 1-13 at "the Schott." #NoExcuses

I wasn't making excuses. I simply said OSU shot out of their mind. If you don't think back to back, banked in 3 pointers from the top of the key doesn't significantly change the moral of the team you're playing, then you've forgotten about being in a position like that.

I would have no idea about that, as there was no three-point shot when I played in high school. However, I do remember that some dude on Columbus Marion-Franklin High School's team once jumped over my head, and demoralized me a tad.
