Ok can we talk about how good Jalen Steele was?

Dude looked like he is gonna be a good one in the years to come. He's not playing like a freshman that's for sure. Fast on defense. A little small, and can score better than I thought.

He's worked himself into the starting lineup and I have a feeling he won't leave it till he graduates.

to him "like i'm going to knock this ***** (shot)down" he's got that swag... but for real, he's tough. Has good defensive instincts also.

I like the fact he plays hard every possession and actually listens to coaches and Dee-the only leader on our team. He's going to be a good one. I like his attitude, confidence, how hard he plays, and his shot.

I would be happy to have another Randy on the team. Randy Steele.

JS had a great game. I am looking forward to seeing this guy play for the next few years. Sidney will put it all together next year. Hopefully Dee comes back. Hood is coming in. Lewis has impressed me. Next year could be something.

I'm impressed with Steele. Kudos to him. I hope he keeps working, hustling, and improving. He's got a bright future.

Hopefully he is leader and not a follower. We don't need the knuckleheads teaching him to skip class, get lazy, fight in the stands, cuss at coaches, etc.

I would play Steele until his tongue is hanging out. He deserves it. He ain't scared and he plays hard. If we go down, I'd rather go down fighting. Steele gives effort. After watching Ravern and Kodi half-***, and Dee dress in street clothes for 14 games, Steele is breath of fresh air. I won't even talk about Renardo.

a guy that (1) has division one talent to begin with; (2) keeps his mouth shut; (3) does what he's told; (4) works hard; (5) hustles and (6) defends will look like the second coming of Timmy Bowers. Hope this kid can rise above the ash heap bury assembled and push broomed out there for the college basketball world to see and smell.

Somebody else said it well. Jakldawg maybe. It's simply embarrassing that whatever you call what bury and company are doing "Mississippi State Basketball." Embarrassing.
