I can’t talk **** about WVU any longer as long as John Holiday is still at MU. I will no longer call him Doc either, it’s an insult to the real badass Doc Holiday.
He’s stealing his salary and I hope he enters the fvcking transfer portal

I can understand your frustration but I don't see a way that Marshall could financially afford to fire Doc. I doubt if many young and rising coaches would take the Marshall job considering the relatively low salary that they pay Doc after all his years of being there. There's a ton of assistant coaches and coordinators who get paid more in their current jobs than the $755,000 that Doc is getting paid as Marshall's head coach. For instance - VT is paying Bud Foster a million dollars a year to be their defensive coordinator. And with the Marshall athletic department already being subsidized at almost over 48% it's doubtful that they could offer a new coach any more than what Doc is being paid. So, you're stuck with him for a couple of more years...........

Marshall could hire a decent FCS assistant and could have a lower salary than they are paying Doc Holiday.

At this point I’d take back Mark Snyder. He at least had to play against a prominent schedule and put players in the NFL. Doc can’t do **** with either.

Doc is recruiting the high risk players, many of which are talented, but they come with a cost. There's a reason why player turn over is so high at Marshall. Doc is also a branch off the Nehlen tree, so there's a high level of conservative play associated with that. Harbaugh is a cut from a similar tree. What worked in the 70's is not necessarily what works in modern day football. I'm with my old buddy WVUAllen. A team like Marshall should look for bringing up a younger generational coach from FCS that's shown a level of success. If they're successful at Marshall, then yes, you may lose him to a P5 program, or a successful G5 program with more resources, but it's simply the way it is on Marshall's level. It's going to get worse in the future, as the GAP between the haves and have nots continues to increase.
