OK, let's say for whatever reason Dak has to take over

He has done very well on his 3rd and short wildcat runs, but what are his other strengths? I know this was discussed a while back, but how about a refresher course on passing, zone reads, etc. He has probably gotten rid of a lot of his jitters, so what could we expect?

I predict you'll get to see his abilities for yourself after TR gets something mysteriously tweaked in the MTSU game.

I'm much more trusting of Mullen's off-field development of our QBs since seeing TR play this year. Seemed like we were doing the exact opposite last year - Relf most times, but bring in TR for the long ball. I honestly worried that TR would not be able to play all aspects of QB in the SEC. Seeing that he was being prepared away from the field for things other than how he was utilized last year gives me confidence that Dak is likely far more versatile now than what we see when he comes in.

Relf got beat up in the Auburn game last year.....

....I chalk up our offensive woes (and QB) last year to just 'one of those years'. We suffered some injuries early and in the process dropped a game we shouldn't have. Whole train almost ran off course after that.

I'm excited to see our offense next year with a Sr. QB and a veteran OL who doesn't lose a single person from the two deep this year. RB also for that matter.

I don't think it is far-fetched. Russel kes some huge hits. Even against

South Alabama he took some.

He stands in the pocket and throws as good as you can as,k for, but damn, he takes some big hits. I thin kit is entirely possible we see Dak full time at some point.

Speaking of QB's, I wonder how Golden is doing? Is he showing enough to be back next year?

He's capable of a great deal, but will have to show some patience if he's going to survive that part of our season. Hits will be harder. Wr's won't be as wide open.

I'd say you'll see rollout throws and screens rather than the drop back you see with Tyler.plus wed be in a difficult position with no experienced person behind him.

We would simply go back to last year's offense- except at some point Dak would start making throws Relf never could.
