It's coming my friend... Gotta keep you in suspense a little longer... I actually have three team previews written and a handful of other articles in the works. Fasten your seatbelt because once they start coming there's no stopping till we get to the night of Aug. 24th when Bird and Meadowbrook face off.

I'm ready for the season to be here too. Not a fan of the 95 degree days. Ready for those low-70's, upper-60's Friday nights in September... not much better!
Also am hoping -- just trying to figure out a way -- to have a weekly football chat for an hour here on the site, talking football on all of the teams / players around the state.
Love the weather of a football season... we begin in shorts at games in late August/early September and in some cases like last season, sweating our tails off and we aren't even the ones playing the game. Wishing for cooler weather and by the time the season ends in December, we're wrapped up in layers wishing for warm weather.
Well it could be worse for Bleeding Navy... he could have a film projector going old school with black and white film. As for the hero part... I'm flattered to say the least... I guess I'm a hero in two peoples eyes, yours and my son... lol!
Ok you exposed the situation. I was being charitable to poor old Navy's skills. If his wife will operate the VHS player, (actually, his is a BETA), then he gets to watch videos. When he is alone, he puts a 78 rpm on a Victrola, and looks at old black and white pictures of his leather helmet days.

What do you expect? We didnt have concussion protocol back then. Coach: " #11 When you are finished puking, take a salt tablet and get your butt back in the game".
Just the way it was and honestly I have not suffered from any concussion related symptoms. I like the new system and the protection it provides the players.
