There are 10 left to go. Auburn was better than us, and until we start to even the talent gap, this stuff is going to happen. The guys on TV said we have 11 seniors on our 3 deep roster. Huge problem. Relf is not an SEC QB. Tyler Russell in 1 year is. We have too much youth on this team to win these games against experienced teams like Auburn. Our offensive line had 3 2 star recruits start tonight against Auburn's D line of 3, 4, and 5 stars. Our young defensive line was going up against an offensive line full of 4 and 5 star seniors who have been through this plenty of times. I know it feels like **** now, but this will pass. Mullen has us in the right direction. We got beat bad last year in Auburn. We are closing the gap, but it's gonna take time and experience. We have to look at this for what it was. A better team beat us tonight. We are young, and we still have kinks to work out.

Is Auburn more talented? Yes. Should we have beaten them regardless? Yes. Why didn't we? Because we went away from what was working on offense. We, by this decision making, placed the burden on our passing game, which is our weakness, and lost because of it.</p>

Seniors are great, but when you have 2 star offensive lineman going up against 4 star defensive lineman from the SEC, you have a tough road ahead. Saulsberry looked completely lost tonight. We can't pass block to save our lives, and that is why we can't pass.Relf had almost no time to throw tonight. We need to recruit offensive lineman. Once the offensive line is rebuilt, we will be a really good team. But until we do that, we will be 6 and 7 wins a year. You can't win in the SEC if you can't balance the run and pass, and right now, all we can do is run.
