TCU wins close or (gasp!) loses vs New Mexico<div>Auburn loses to USC in the SECCG or Oregon loses the Civil War</div><div>
</div><div>Does LSU backdoor their way into the BCSCG if they beat Arkietomorrow??</div>

there's a better chance of us going 16-0 in the SEC in basketball than TCU losing to New Mexico, and that's no exaggeration.

It's just fun to speculate about all these scenarios. Wisky might have something to say about LSU being chosen ahead of them especially when LSU didn't win their conference (Provided all the above scenarios hold and Wisky beat NW).

That gives them a pretty decent shot at making it. But the real question is what happens if Auburn loses to USC. Do they still get the game or does it go to LSU or TCU? I don't see a good shot of Oregon State beating Oregon either. But if they both lose, maybe we end up with TCU vs. LSU for the trophy. TCU's schedule has to be one of the easiest ever in major college football. If you haven't looked at it, you really should, especially if you're a voter.

to put a team that didn't win their conference in the national title. The last time they did it with Nebraska (02 Rose Bowl, I think) the BCS committee later said how much of a mistake that was because it chipped away at the integrity of the system. Weird, didn't know there was any. <div>
</div><div>If Auburn and Oregon lose, it is going to be TCU vs. whoever wins the Big 10....exciting stuff.</div>

but the "they" you speak of is only 1/3 of the selection right? Computers may just jump LSU over TCU and CPU definitely will have a 11-1 SEC team that lost to Auburn (12-1) ahead of an 11-1 Big 10 team losing to Michigan State (11-1 maybe 10-2)
