OK, seriously, will OM actually forgive AK for Cincy? He is going to TRIAL!

In all these threads patting AK on the back for what he was able to hold together this year, people keep referencing how good his team will be next year.

For such a "proud" institution, can he possibly retain his job after another losing SEC season with such an embarassing trial upcoming? Are you serious? I thought he had been given a pass just to finish out the season.

Is there some information out there leading us to believe that the charges will be dropped or he has some kind of plausable defense?

If this were Stans, and he had just won the SEC outright ranked in the top 10, we'd still be on here asking who Byrne were going to hire to replace him this offseason.

Where is the rebel indignation we saw over O? At least his embarassment was not a trial. It isn't as if AK is a model citizen at home (according to Oxford residents who choose to "go get a bite to eat" at midnight and have a hankering for pretzels and peanuts.)

Reb fans should stand up and demand he be fired if the trial confirms even half of what is reported to have occured, regardless of the "verdict."

that most OM people seem to think that he's innocent. You know why? Because he said so. Afterall, most guilty people fess right up and tell the truth, right?

Ok. We will do that considering i am sure you have our best interests at heart. Look, if he is found guilty he should be gone. Otherwise he did a hell of a job all things considered this season.

I do care about how Mississippi (the state) is viewed by outsiders. Unfortunately for the rest of Mississippi, Oxford hasn't been annexed by Tennessee yet, so until then, I care about the perceptions, therefore I guess I care about you.

I want to beat Ole Miss every time, but I prefer to beat you when you are at the top of your game....not when you are being led by O, or AK. Distractions and embarrassments to you, and all of us.

I consider OM like my slutty little sister. I may not like her, I may not respect her, I may not even care who she sleeps with in private. But I don't want her on the billboard advertising her strippin at the Pony!

Once again, nobody outside of Mississippi and Cincy even knows who AK is, and if they do, there is a strong chance that they mistakenly think he coaches at State. Do you honestly believe that people around the country are following his situation as a barometer for societal progress or the lack thereof in Mississippi? ****, I thought only AK thought this was an international incident.
