Ole Miss fans pulled a pretty good fan movement to rid themselves of O last year when all signs pointed to the Administration was ready to give him one more year to have "his recruits". I realize the fact that Croom is black will make this tougher but we have to be able to pull a bunch of fans together and rid ourselves of this egomaniac that has no idea how to coach a football team.. We have good players.. Elliot looks impressive.. WRs are good.. we have a team that a real coach could come in and go 6-6 or so legitimately (without other teams giving us games).

Our issues with Croom is exactly what Nutt is needing to gain momentum in recruiting and hes a good coach so giving him the inside track on recruits isn't going to help us...

Croom is seriously the stupidest coach I have ever seen.

I'm also getting the feeling Sly is just going to quit at the end of the year he'll be so sick of everybody telling him what to do.

Something to the effect - "And you won't have to ask me to leave. I will do it on my own" or something like that?
I would love to find the exact quote and email it to him. Along with the "you'll never be embarrassed under my watch" or any of the other stupid ****** croomisms that he has hit us with.

Wanna come to a school that's loaded with young talent, and get paid 4 times as much as you're being paid now?

I could only hope that Byrne and Croom make the trip back to Starkville sitting side by side and that Byrne has the balls to explain to Croom that he needs to consider a different career direction. Screw one more year of this crap. I already have quit buying season tickets and only go to a couple of games now. I am now to the point that I dont even know when game time is until I take time to look it up in the Saturday morning paper. Croom should be a man and understand that he is in way over his head and announce his retirement. At least for the remainder of the year the players may gear up for him. At this point, they seemed to have lost faith.

Simply sit him down, tell him he MUST bring in a new offensive coordinator and turn over the offense to him, and stand back and let his pride to the rest.

Being this inept, possibly even more anemic than last year on offense in this year #5... I really think Croom has enough integrity to admit failure and step aside.
