Not. The more I see of the guy the more I can't understand how an sec football coach can be so unprofessional. (that's a nice way to put it) anyway. I was just thinkin of all the mess he's said and done and a story my brother told me popped in my head.

My brother is a highschool coach and he coached a player last year that signed with state. Mullen came to visit the player at school and the player quickly told mullen my brother was "the enemy" (om fan) just making a joke. Player loved my brother but was simply joking.

Mullen went on to talk football and he asked my brother what he thought about freeze. My brother said he didn't know much but he was excited and felt he would be successful. He then turned around and asked mullen what he thought about freeze. Mullens response "I don't know much either. But I do know when I was coaching the future no. 1 draft pick in Alex smith freeze was a girls hs basketball coach"

Point is, although that may be true, what respectable coach talks about other coaches that way. Shows zero class. I seriously do not see how He hasn't been banned from
Highschools..

Just thought id share that.

That pic needs to be shown to every recruit we are both after. Then show them one of Mullen with Smith at the same time.

What's funny is how hypocritical they are about it. They know that if it was us with a head coach with a similar background they would rag us to no end and expect their coach to use it to his advantage.

Let us not forget Freezus was caught telling recruits Mullen is an atheist. And their fans were fan with that. These people are scarily delusional. Is it really any wonder we've suddenly got the NCAA bogeyman howling at the door aGAIN? I really wish I wasn't able to say I told you so, but these toolsheds are predictable as hell. We whip their *** on the field, they run to the Gestapo and allege cheating. They'd rather tear down our program than build up their program to a competitive level. Hell, it won't be long until Mullen and the staff have PIs following them on the 'crootin' trail. And by "won't be long" I mean probably after we kick their *** aGAIN this season.

either i know the school where this occurred or mullen uses this line quite often. the version i heard was that the coach wouldnt shut up about freeze while mullen was trying to recruit a certain fg kicker. so to make a joke amd get that coach off his back mullen made the girls bball voach remark. it shut the hs coach up pretty quick. funny as hell

Exactly. The NCAA stuff was predictable. It worked for them before thhey were bound to try it again.

Given their analysis of the TX game, I'm sure the TSUN takeaway will be that Freeze won a Championship in Girls HS BBall. They can add this Championship to their Recruiting Championship.

Since I heard this same story from a brother of the head coach. (coaching family, MSU legacy) the poster left out the part where his brother was a dick to Mullen the whole time. It should also be noted that the jr high asst coach told Mullen the egg bowl trophy would be back in Oxford in November. Mullen replied that it will be but only far a few hours.
