I think Corby should be cut some slack on this one. He's about to get fileted on GIA for not jumping on the nutjob bandwagon.
I agree more information is needed but I do wonder why Beau didn't take advantage of the transfer portal if things were really that bad? It is easier now than ever to transfer... why would you endure this type of "abuse" if you don't have to??? and if no one can do anything to prevent it, "in spite of the many reports" More information is needed for sure!

Agreed on Cael, Casey and company doing nothing about it. Hard to imagine... we win another NC with or without. In fact if Carter doesnt stay... we probably retain Ryder - so addressing it would not have been detrimental to the teams success? Like I said.. need for information but I dont like the smell to this point.
A lot of these "cryptic" (aka non-specific) posts sounds like Beau (and/or his wife) was reading too many message board posts, which he essentially admits. Despite his W-L record, he was often the subject of criticism by posters as being boring due to low scoring matches. Much of this sounds like he got his feelings hurt... More could come out, but cryptic posts don't lead to credibility at this time. We'll see...
I have no idea if any of this is true, but I'm just going to say it. His wife seems like a complete nut job, looking for attention. Unfortunately, PSU doesn't have the best track record with issues being run up the chain of command and dealt with, so who knows.
No one currently at Penn State has a track record of not dealing with allegations seriously. Also, aside from the very recent posts is there any reason to label his wife a "nut job"? I for one don't know her and do not personally know Beau. Maybe you do. Let's do the rare thing here and let the facts come out,if they ever do, and go from there. I know it's not fun to withhold speculation but it's the reasonable thing to do.

I would, but I don't have Twitter and never have and nor will I ever. You're entitled to your own opinion and it may just be more well founded than mine. I just will say I feel as though we should shy away on character judgements based off of recent social media posts/message board posts. The one thing I can gaurentee is there is not a message board post that exists that had ever mentioned a single thing about her character or personality until she made negative remarks about Penn State Wrestling very recently. Either way, until the facts come forward, or don't, it would be in everyone's best interest to wait for anything definitive or factual.
I said it earlier. She seems like an attention seeker and I’m betting is a massive snowflake when it comes to feelings. She honestly seems to be the issue more than Beau. Though his post was handled in about as bad a way as it could have been done.
Just got the inside scoop. I will not post the info, but from what I heard, I'm on the side of Beau and his wife. May not have been handled the best, but I understand where it came from. A bit disappointed by the issue. Based on what I heard, more of an internal issue, rather than one that required any intervention from outside the team. Also based upon what I've heard, not everyone would agree with who was in the wrong.

If Beau were offered to join the NLWC, he'd be at NLWC instead of NYCRTC. He then would not have made the post and he'd still be wrestling alongside Carter. His post was a stink bomb on the way out. Yes, I said IF. By definition, that isn't rumor or innuendo or fact. It's conjecture based on a couple suppositions. One, while it isn't guaranteed that he was not offered a package by the NLWC, if he had been, what are the solid reasons he would choose the NYCRTC over NLWC? Two, if he had been offered a package by the NLWC and declined, there is no good reason to burn any bridges back to NLWC by the use of social media.
So based on those two thoughts, I don't believe he was offered a package by the NLWC. His actions don't track as they should if he had felt some love by the RTC. They do track if someone feels spurned by the RTC.
I don’t know Beau, nor his wife. But I always got the feeling from interview videos that he was significantly deeper than his wrestling alone. People like that typically make their decisions over multiple criteria. Why are you so quick to dismiss that other factors besides wrestling could have played a role?
Would it be more robust to just say his actions track if he knew he was not returning to NLWC for any reason, not just by being passed over?
Maybe he didn’t get a contract offer because he’d already signaled that he was less than 100% happy.
We can do this **** all day, which is why I’ve commented both here and on Rivals that it seems wasteful to play the “here’s what I think if …” game over all possible scenarios.
Hell, even if one party says a little something more many posters are going to refute it if it doesn’t fit the scenario they thought was most likely. It’s like you’re jerking off in quicksand.

Who says I'm dismissing other factors? I didn't say anything about an RTC offer being the whole set of factors.
And, yes, it would be more fair to say that if he wasn't ever going to come back to State College, then that could have played a part in coming forward.
