"Meltdown Time" material aside, we all knew this would happen. The worst part is we actually have some 17ing hope now. Down by 3 at halftime to LSU. ****, we'd be down three after the coin toss half a decade ago. But the main takeaway is that we have a long way to go before we can play with the men in this conference, and we're about a 12 year old boy right now. This is the toughest division of the toughest conference that there has ever been. This team would have rolled over the 1997-2001 SEC West, but times have changed. Mullen has to do a lot more to get us to where we can start winning these games. One thing going for us last year was that we were mostly overlooked. This year, not so much. We will get back in our groove next week with a cathartic beatdown on La Tech, but do or die time will be October. If we drop UGA and SC, then yeah, we're regressing. But right now we're no worse than last year.<div>
