Jax and Vega are so funky with their wrestling style. Cowboys are putting on a clinic tonight.
Teague wrestled tough, hope he does well the rest of the season but we see why he is at Mizzou.
It looked like Landon didn’t want to take him down and risk over extending and allowing Teague a takedown in that match. Wish he would open up his offense a little more.
Dee hasn’t wrestled in a while. He’s going to have to be more aggressive and offensive if he wants to beat Messenbrink. Thought for a minute he was going to get upset tonight.

Somewhat disappointed with Swiderski, Robideau and Lockett's last periods. More so Casey. I want to see them attacking the whole match
Unfortunately he’s not going to have the gas tank for MM I don’t think. I hope I’m wrong
Dee has surely got more offense than what he has shown this year. It’s awesome that he is winning but would love for him to cut it loose and take some more chances. Kind of the same story with a lot of the guys in the back half of the lineup.
Seems to me that Merrill is going to have to bring more than that to the mat to medal
30-3. Mizzou has one takedown in the Sinclair/Ryder match.
Need to find him more takedown burgers.

Does this ref call stalling different than every other ref?
Lockett wrestles down to his competition a lot. He turns it up against top guys.
Troy wrestled real good scoring in takedowns, escape and back points . Impressive. Jax is unbelievably dominant. You shoot on Sergio's legs you better take him fast because if you don't you will likely get cradled and pinned especially if you don't get his leg up. Swiderski got the takedown at the end of the 1st period, but I wish he would have put the match a way with a takedown but he got himself a couple of stalling calls instead. Still he beat a tough true freshman who beat Tagen last weekend. Landon with a solid win over Travis. 1 takedown, escape and rode Teague out the whole second period. Solid win. With all the talent that Dee has he should score more than 1 takedown against his opponent. He almost gave up a takedown towards the end of the 3rd period and he would have been behind by 1. He won but not impressive. Facundo won 2 to 1 on a stalling point but needs to get a takedown or 2 in his matches. Ryder no offense and in the 3rd period gives up a takedown to lose the match. Very tough opponent though. Cody wins 2 to 0 gets an escape and rides out the 3rd period for the win. Doucet wins 5 to 1 and actually got a takedown. We need offensive development with the last 5 wrestlers. We got 2 takedowns in the last 5 matches. This seems to be a pattern. However, we did pound Missouri.
Wrestling on his knees, playing the edge and then just sitting on both knees while opponent is waiting center mat is going to bite him in a close match. He might fool the opponent but not the ref.
Maybe. I'm not saying I like that style, but so far he's an undefeated true freshman and ranked #2 in the nation. He turned it up against Caliendo when he needed to.
It looks to me like he is intentionally slowing down and controlling the pace of his matches. Maybe to make sure he doesn't run out of gas?
Dee doesn't wrestle like Messenbrink. Dee wins with wrestling IQ, quickness and elite body control/awareness.
Don't misunderstand, Dee's super talented but he's also put in the work and always improves.

He is +3 I think in his margins. He is so talented, he’s leaning on it.
If he doesn’t cut it loose, he will fail in March. Sorry! I’m a big fan, but I’ve moved into the fan of his potential and not his results.
Dee needs to realize he’s one of the most talented guys on the planet and put on a show. Right now, he knows he’s one of the most talented guys on the planet and thinks he can win off that.
He’s been dinged up lately, but his wolf pack is showing him up if we really want to be honest.
