I know the OL was a concern going into the season, but I think they played pretty well last night, considering missing a starter. I think they gave shapen plenty of time to throw for the most part. Struggled a little opening running lanes consistently. Overall encouraging.

Nobody will agree, but this is a team that played in the CFP last year. Big 12 champs. 16 returning STARTERS. Not players. Starters. They are as good as, if not better than, several SEC teams we will face. Florida and OM would have a hard time with them. The truth is if they had a better QB they would be really dangerous

The oline still has a long way to go. I don’t remember his number but 1 guy on the ASU d line controlled the middle.

I think a lot of people would agree with that, if not damn near everyone. Arizona State has a great OL and run game. They are a physical team for sure.

I honestly thought the O line was alright last night. I think that the continued play calls that sent our RBs running straight at their mammoth DTs and Shapen’s decision making made the O line look worse than it was at times. Rarely was Shapen getting flushed from the pocket, and there weren’t too many times that guys were getting into the backfield. We just kept forcing stuff that wasn’t there
