I drank so much Old Charter in my days at MSU (1969-72) that I can hardly stand to smell the stuff now, so I'm pretty sure I haven't tasted any since then.

What "college habits" did you give up once you graduated?

In Ville Platte LA where I live...they cannot even keep Old Charter on the shelves bc it sells out so quickly. The 10 year isn’t bad at all. Also, Old Charter is way better than the Evan Williams green and black labels I drank in Starkville.

It was. Along with the 8 year too.

Only whiskey with the Charter label is a “No Age”. It still has the number 8 on the bottle though.

Bourbon shortage. Thanks hipsters!

Not so much gave up as much as product disappeared. Cost Cutter beer in the mid 80’s. We convinced ourselves that it could be Bud or Michelob. It was cheep by the case.

Speaking of Michelob, do they make the original short squatty bottle anymore?

Also, do they make green label Jack anymore?
