the Veranda used to not have a bar crowd at all on Mondays until $2 basket of wings (10wings) and $5 pitchers came out. Then it got so busy the wings became 7 but it didn't matter cause the crowd was already in the routine. I havn't been there in awhile but its probably the same. You should of seen the night there was a misprint in the bar-journal and it said $1 red bull and vodka on Tuesday haha.

I think $2 RBV on tues. night started in 2004. They used the knock-off red bullconcentrate stuff. Called bonzai or something asian-ish I wanna say. Just as good(or bad) though. That place would get rowdy quick. Bad thing was that meantI only had sunday and monday to rest because wednesday was $1 night at the bistro and then you of course were obligated to go out thurs-sat. Good times.</p>

also, barrister's will be shutting down during spring break to be modified into a greek style restaurant/bar. similar to keefer's in jackson.
