I think I would choose Les Miles as my coach over Saban. At least Les add some entertainment value into the mix. At least you are going to see some crazy fake kick or go for the endzone with 6 seconds left. Sure, it's going to bite you in the *** every now and then but Saban is so inhuman and boring.

but the more and more I learn about this guy, the more I respect him. He almost never misses a beat to humor the audience and he coaches one of the best teams I have ever seen in my lifetime. Not many coaches can provide great coaching and a good sense of humor. Les Miles is one of those exceptions to the profession

finish this football season #1 in the nation and undefeated. Saban outcoached himself in the previous game; this time Les will outcoach him. Go Tigers.

it's not luck. Miles players play with as much effort and never get down on themselves as good as any team I've seen. He's just now starting to get the credit he's deserved all along. And yeah, the guy is freaking hilarious, and not just when he means to be.

and Saban embodies that ideal more than others. It works for some occupations although I don't think I'd want my accountant to behave that way. It didn't work for Saban in the NFL. Les, meanwhile, rarely gets angry or appears to lose control of his emotions. He seemed perfectly calm during the Alabama game while Saban was fussing and fuming. Les has a "don't worry, The game lasts four quarters," attitude that allows LSU to not be too bothered when teams like Arkansas, #3 and a thorn in LSU's side for years, are up early by 14 points. Haven't seen any criticism of Miles by former players but many who played (and coached) with Saban don't think too highly of him personally. He's incredibly thin-skinned and takes offense at some of the mildest questions during press conferences. Miles is definitely a better person and he might be a better college coach.

What Miles does with humor Saban does with anger.
talking to a bama fan after the first game of the century, he was talking about how lesticles grabbed brad wing right before he punted from deep in his own territory and said "go out there and have fun." wing then booted a 71 yard punt preventing bama from gaining a field position advantage. while he obviously loves some saban, he thinks miles' humor and "go have fun" attitude might give him the advantage over saban's *** chewing approach. miles isn't a softie and will get in a guy's ear when he screws up, but he'll then break the tension with a funny quip to loosen up the player/team. saban is a robot, and it probably causes some added pressure to the players in big time situations. <div>
</div><div>i know if i were a HS recruit, i'd take a lesticles style coach over a saban style coach 100 times out of 100.</div>

Planning for a game, he wouldn't want anyone other than Saban.

Coaching a game, not lots of difference in the two of them, good and bad about both.

When the game is on the line, he wouldn't want anyone other than Miles.
