A loss today would put them losing 6 of 7. Would that put them in danger of being a 3 seed somewhere?

Resting him. Tourney was pretty irrelevant, wish Bianco wouldn't have pitched

Mayers on Tuesday. I don't think winning it would have allowed us to host and I don't think losing to Kentucky would've cost us a regional appearance so I'd have dug deep for someone to pitch.

Wahl looked tired in the finale against LSU. Was consistently around 88 and is normally around 92-93.

Gotcha. David Johnson on rebsports this morning said he was starting. But...

...then again on the Monday morning after our series he assured all his listeners no post-season baseball would be played within the borders of Mississippi.

Completely agree with the way Bianco pitched the SECT. No need at all to bring Wahl back on short rest. I wonder how much pitching that inning Friday and then starting Sunday contributed to that. It looks like he may just be one of those guys who doesn't respond to pitching on short rest very well.
