I looked for it, but it may be Germans.

I don't think this will happen, and I think that an Ole Miss/MSU game would be bigger at Memorial Stadium. That's where I grew up watching them play.

If the US goes through with dropping the travel embargo to Cuba, there are few more awesome things that I can think of then going to the Caribbean to watch MSU play football. It would be a week long trip no doubt.

Edit: Interesting Note: The Bacardi bowl that used to be held in Havana, Cuba was played 7 times. MSU, Ole Miss, and USM have all played in it once. 1912, 1921, and 1946.

the other sites, while unrealistic are at least somewhat possible, and maybe even feasable. Havana won't happen as long as the commies are there.

USM fans wouldn't want to play there either. Awful stadium that probably needs to be torn down. JSU would kill for an on-campus stadium as a replacement, but that stadium will crumble underneath them before that happens.

If USM had to play in a neutral location locally, I'd choose the Superdome or Ladd Stadium in Mobile waaaaaaay before I'd even settle on Jackson ******** stadium. This guy probably thinks Legion Field in Birmingham is still nice.

will. not. happen.

I drove by that crap-hole today. It needs to become parking for UMC.

Those that say it would be dangerous to attend a game there are wrong, it would be safe if you didn't park too far away, but the place is literally in disrepair, horrible concessions and restrooms. Also, JPD is completely without a clue how to handle game-day crowds and too stubborn/stupid to ask UM or MSU campus police for training.

Ivan, those days are LONG gone....

Yea I never attended a MSU or UM game there but I heard in the past there was never a problem with traffic. I atteneded the Colts/Saints scrimmage a few years back and that was enough for me to never want to go back. Spent good money just to see half a game and the Sonic Boom thanks to the most horrendous traffic regulation I've ever been stuck in.
