So my wife says that all over facebook (I don't have an account) the Rebels are making fun of State fans for rushing the field and tearing down the goal posts after the domination today.....

The goal posts at Scott Field cannot be torn down since ~'00 when they added the retractable posts that come down after EVERY game win or lose. Are they so full of themselves that they make up **** on facebook to feel important? You can even see in the eggbowl picture that there were no fans on the field.

And I didn't see any fans on the field, but they could've come on the field after the TV changed to the UF/FSU game I guess.

so I'm positive of that date. Also, we beat UK the next week and they lowered them before the game was officially over for the first time.

17 'em. It's typical behavior. They attempt damage control by resorting to childish accusations, name calling, and going out of their way to deny that they give a damn about MSU.

If it makes them feel better, so be it.

No fans charged the field and as far as I know I never saw any fans get on the field during the postgame celebration. We sung the Alma Mater and cheered from the stands as Mullen and the team ran around the field in celebration and harmony. Every fan stayed in the stands to cheer on our dawgs.

All I can say is it was freakin awesome. What a day it has been. Thank you Mullen for playing Relf today and sending our seniors out with a great victory that we all can enjoy.

Their are. The staff took the goal posts down and then put them back up. The goal posts never left Scott Field. They haven't left Scott Field since '04 as one poster said. Whoever claimed they were torn down was just trying to alleviate their frustration.
