This is insane. How do people 17 this **** up so much?

Some third world country is fixing to get some lovely maron shirts, cheap. For at least one of them it will become a prized possession and generate a life's quest to find this home land of the Mississippi State Rebels. They will eventually arrive here and travel to Omaha, only to have their hopes and dreams crushed, like rebels everywhere.
It's making the rounds. A State poster put it on SECrant. He said he friend is in Omaha and sent it to him.
Apparently the store selling them removed the shirt. If you bought one, it might be one of a kind.
When I first heard about a Mississippi State Rebels shirt at TD Ameritrade this morning all I could think about were Patriots 2012 SB champs shirts being worn by kids in Ghana.
I expected more from an institution that has a Will Clark in an MSU jersey banner hanging from the rafters somewhere inside.
It'll be a collectors item one of these days when we're famous. And why "Men's Baseball"? Is there any other kind? And why "Road to Omaha"? If you're in the CWS, you're already there.

A vender confirmed to me that the "Mississippi State Rebels" t-shirts are real and were taken off shelves and shipped back. Already gone.
That was me, it was in the Loves Truck Stop near Trustmark Park. I'll dig in the old files and see if I still have it. I know it was w/ my YUKU photos but last time I looked there all my old ones were gone.
..and ten years from now these things will still happen.

At the MSU/UGA game in 2010, a Georgia fan parked next to me asked, "What radio station carries Mississippi games?" I rudely responded, "I don't know who carries them." Both Mississippi and Mississippi State are SEC charter members. You would think fans in our own conference would know the difference.
I would assume a lot of people around the country
who don't follow sports a great deal and even those "keep up" with college sports a little bit have trouble determining the difference between in-state teams. How many people in general in our own state know the difference between say Washinton and Washington St.? What about Arizona and Arizona St.? I have had numerous so called sports people get those two confused....However, I would make dang sure I knew the difference before I printed shirts etc...
