Of course they could not be out done with our news this week that we will began construction on expanding DWS. They said that they "have plans" to expand to 70,000 so in their honor I present.

While it always makes me laugh, I question it's authenticity. I'm not saying its a fake, but I think it was taken outside of game time. That had to have been take either way before a game or way after. Their is no one in the skyboxes and no lights on in them either. During regulation, there wasat leasttwice that many people there. Maybe it was that grim...I try to forget those times.

There should be a new rule that states, "Pictures of empty seats in a stadium shall be inadmissible unless the picture clearly shows players on the sidelines and or players actually playing football on the field against a team that is wearing different colors than their own."

This rule would would get rid of pre game photos, warm up time photos, post game photos, and last but not least, spring game photos.

It was 10 or so mins before kick-off and it didnt get much better as the game started.

/The Crooms era was that bad.

during the crooms error, I attended about 90% of the games. Also, I stayed the entire game length of those. I can attest that the stadium was like that on more than one occasion.

I remember betting on Florida to cover 24 points on us.

I remember the stadium being damn near empty at kick off. Less than 50% of the the lower seats on both sides.

I remember that both lower levels were more than 75% full in the middle of the third quarter. Everyone flocked to the game when we got ahead.

I remember getting down onto the field before Florida's players all got into the locker room. I walked past Channing Crowderand wincedat the thought of taking a hit from him. He seemed epicly gigantic.

I remeber helping cut up the goal post in the back yard of the frat house and getting **** housed drunk that night.

Good times.

but failed to remember we had lost to Maine the week before. But hey, we got to 3 wins that year.<div>
</div><div>I was still in high school for that game, so I missed out on the fence jumping/ tearing down the goalpost activities that followed. I got to see Crxxms last 3 years, though. Except in '07 (not including the LSU game in 2007, of course), nothing ever got better. </div>

which frankly I don't believe given the empty skyboxes, you are comparing a picture of what? Two sections of the nose bleed upper deck in pre-game to the entire Alumni side of Vaught Hemingway stadium in the middle of a game. That's a pretty ridiculous comparison

After The Maine most games I listened from my tailgate. Thank God I was a student and could get to games so easily. Long travel + Crooms = potential for multiple homicides

we beat Kentucky the week after we beat Florida, and with the 2 game winning streak, I'm sure many thought a corner was turned. Might have been, but it was into a dark alley4 years long.

However, inthat awful 2004 season, in just those two consecutive weekends, we still won more SEC games than OM has wonover two fullseasons.

We also weren't talking about expanding out stadium during the Croom dark ages either.
