Yeah. Freeze has some weapons. Imagine if Nick Brassell was playing both ways for them.

Their receivers do a good job of

Subtly pushing off at the last second too. We are gonna have to sit this down somehow.

This is something we've also made strides in this year

I've even seen Tubby lay the wood on a few blocks.

The only pass thrown up for grans I saw was that first pass by Brunetti. Shoulda been a pick but the 4
5 foot 2 dh mistimed his jump and the receiver made a good play on the ball. Other than that the receivers have been WIDE OPEN and Treadwell left tread marks on the entire defensive backfield on that one td. .

Yes they are they use their hands very

Well underneath the shoulder pads of the defenders. That used to be called holding almost every time years ago but not so much anymore.

From what have seen the Dogs should be able to control their off. I think the PCbears off line can be stuffed, and like MSU they either don't have or use a power running back between the tackles. MOst of the passes I saw were slant/post type route's of different depths. Alabama seemed to shut them down close to the goal by coming across with the def ends making the qb take the off tackle lane. The corners sat on the inside shoulder of the recievers and the inside linebackers slid into the off tackle gap to either stuff the run of block the inside slant pass. I know this is over simplification and Wallace will make some throws to those WRs but I truly think State has the horses to shut down the between tackles running game and that's where it all starts.....what' is y'alls take.
