Anybody besides me have a feeling Memphis could pull the upset today? OM has 3 questions going into this game. First,How will OM deal with preseason hype? Second,Will the Memphis WR's give the OM secondary fits? Third,How will the OL react to playing 3 new starters? This will will be Memphis's superbowl, not saying its going to happen, but I think this game will be closer than OM fans want it to be.

I brought it up in a thread a few days ago...I think Memphis is due big season opening upset like '91 when they went to LA and beat SoCal. Not saying it (just) because they are playing OM, I just think they are due one...

or is possibly way overrated, the tigers could make it interesting. To me the key for Ole Miss is Left Tackle. As we found out with M Brown, and they will find out without Sean Toolie's kid, you have to protect the blind side. If I were Memphis, I would blitz every play and make sure Sneed gets a shot in his pretty mouth every play and not let him pick them apart.

Edited to ad there is a 40% chance of rain in Memphis. That would also equalize things

Memphis has no QB and the one they have will melt down under their pressure D. Ole Miss should win by 28.

Normally I feel Memphis can hang with Ole Miss even when over matched but I'm betting Nutt has these guys focused today. Memphis is so hyped up about the chance to play spoiler but you aren't hearing a peep from Ole Miss. They will come out and *****-slap Memphis up and down the field today. I hope I'm wrong.

I am still trying to figure out who our 3 new starters are? Brandon Green and Bradely Sowell then you have John Jerry (4 yr starter), Geralds (2 yr starter) and Reid Neely (2 yr starter). If this game is remotely close then their is know doubt that we are way overhyped and will not even come close to competing for the west. Bama looked unbelievable last night.
