Miami looks like the far superior team so far. Much faster. Would love to see Ole Miss win, though.
Yep. Have hated miami since the '87 game, not that I hold a grudge. If Kiffen was still coaching OM I might have a breakdown deciding on who to pull against.Miami looks like the far superior team so far. Much faster. Would love to see Ole Miss win, though.
Same. Makes it easy to pull for someone b/c of Kiffin.Yep. Have hated miami since the '87 game, not that I hold a grudge. If Kiffen was still coaching OM I might have a breakdown deciding on who to pull against.
They'd have to rip someone's helmet off, with after the fact targeting, with after the fact pilling on, and a brawl would have to ensue before they're going to throw a flag on the last play of the game....How was that last play not interference on Miami? That was a molestation!
That Miami defender was holding the arms of the receiver, and the receiver was trying to get loose but the tv gurus call it hand fighting.....LOLThey'd have to rip someone's helmet off, with after the fact targeting, with after the fact pilling on, and a brawl would have to ensue before they're going to throw a flag on the last play of the game....
Any team, anywhere. They're simply not going to make that call.
Would you welcome "a freak show" for a spot in the national championship game?Win or lose, thank God we don't have a freak show "Michael Irvin" parading up and down the side line.
It was unquestionably PI. No chance they'll call it in that situation, though. How was that last play not interference on Miami? That was a molestation!
I must agree. Interference there would have been a credible call, to put it mildly. How was that last play not interference on Miami? That was a molestation!

Game has become a instant classic.
Back to back Ole Miss playoff games were instant classics. Their game against Georgia was just as good if not better.Game has become a instant classic.
It's fitting that in an era defined by lousy officiating, this game's ending was greatly impacted by a horrible non-call.I must agree. Interference there would have been a credible call, to put it mildly.
I'm thinking Oregon wins tonight.Miami has survived 2 nail biters and a third pretty good game.
I think Indiana wins it though.
I'm going with the IU defense. They've allowed an average of 9 points in their last 7 games. Oregon's offense struggled against TTU.I'm thinking Oregon wins tonight.
Oh, I'm not dying on this hill, just a feeling about the game.I'm going with the IU defense. They've allowed an average of 9 points in their last 7 games. Oregon's offense struggled against TTU.
Hard to beat the same team twice, though.

Yeah, I'm not feeling one team that strongly over the other
I just see Indiana as really playing with a lot of momentum. Thats it.
And dated a Cavinder for a few minutes!Great game. Guess things worked out perfectly for Beck. Got big money and a trip to the title game.
I guess some people like it this way. I think it's more interesting when there are great/dominant teams as opposed to a bunch of good teams. There are no really good / great teams.
Not sure what to think yet. I do know this…watching Ole Miss get that close tells me it can be done here. They don’t have anything we don’t have. Not sure if we will ever make it happen, but I was pretty certain when teams were dominant we’d never get close, especially after the Spurrier years.I guess some people like it this way. College Football is suffering from a product standpoint. No doubt. don’t know that it’s all about paying the players as much as the freedom they have to come and go. If they can get control of that (and finally eliminate ejections for targeting) there’s a shot it could be good again.
The Big 10 is not down. With all the discussion about the SEC being down…I think the reality is that everyone is down across the country. Players are chasing the money and every school has just enough to get some talent. That thins it out and evens the playing field.
watching that game, I felt like it was entertaining as hell. Same with Ole Miss - Georgia. But I don’t feel like I was watching two heavyweights throw haymakers. Good teams, yes. There are no really good / great teams. Indiana has a chance to look like that if they dominate Oregon and Miami to win it all.
