Pretty shady, even for Nutt.

Ole Miss got a commitment from former Florida player Jamar Hornsby. Now I know we all make mistakes but I would never want a player on my team that used the credit card of his best friends' girlfriend who died in a motorcycle crash.
You can read his commit story on the Ole Miss' Scout site and funny how that subject never came up. That would have been the first question I would have asked him.

As long as he is qualified and can knock the **** out Wide Receivers, it wouldn't bother me if he was a grave robber.

He signed with FL out of high school and was pretty damn good, so as long as he is good, I really don't care. Now if he turns out to suck ***, I think his scholarship should be pulled.

And sadly, he had not beaten up a guy in a parking lot or fired a weapon or...

!#*! it, man. You get the point.

Don't even think about listing the dopey ******** Ole Miss players have pulled. I'm pretty sure that the Ole Miss football team was North Mississippi's primary source for marijuana and coke from 1998 to about 2005.

If all of the guys who did stupid, repugnant **** were kicked off of football teams, the SEC would be playing 9-man ball and every team would still have problems filling their rosters.

opened their dead daughter's credit card billing statements and discovered that piece of ****'s usage of their dead daughter's credit card, some of the charges having been made two days after their daughter was killed, would probably disagree with that whole "victimless" line of argument. The piece of **** went into the dead girl's dorm room after she died, under the guise of "helping" pack up her belongings as a "favor" to the parents, and rifled through her wallet.

Victimless my ***.

get guys who might win but were of good moral fiber and character... until they shoot guns on campus, skip a crapload of classes, get DUIs, etc.

at least nutt is willing to take a chance on someone with athletic potential and talent.

i am not saying we need to seek out criminals but i am saying the most significant criteria for getting a scholarship to MSU should be the ability to play ball in the SEC. everything else can be compromised to a certain extent.

You do realize that football players do stupid ****.

Some steal **** from hotels. Some shoot at cars, some have laser sighted guns.

Nutt is currently signing this guy so we'll bash all we want. Feel free to do the same when our coach does something similar.

crazy mother17s for special teams. they need to be the types that get into fights on the weekend. raving lunatics who will run into a brick wall to get to the kicker/return man. just keep them out of prison and make them go to class. then unleash them on saturdays.

O.K I won't mention the dopey **** the Ole Mrs players have pulled. Although I will bring up the 18 Ole Mrs students and former students that were arrested in a drug raid yesterday for selling pot, xtasy and other narcotics. Way to go guys tell uncle Dickie we said hello.

You might as well lock this thread. I knew I was opening Pandora's box, but man that was a new one. That's just wrong. Tim Holloway compares, but in fairness, Croom did pull his scholarship.
