And who cares if their schedule is easy? Byrne did a good job of setting us up with a lot of easy schedules from 2011 through 2016.

few years but it is just the luck of the draw sometimes and they have been lucky lately. Tough schedules don't do much for you except get your butt beat, we need to figure that out.

I think Byrne did an excellent job scheduling while he was here.

People don't ask who the nine were after a 9-4 season.

of years we were distinctly unlucky. we scheduled several teams when they were lets say mediocre, and when they rolled around they were winning their 17ing conferences. one i remember from the late 70's was tex tech. scheduled them and 3 yrs later at the game they were having their best run in 40yrs. kicked our butts and laughed all the way home.

The SEC (especially ours the past year and this year) is tough enough. There is no reason we should be scheduling top 25 teams.

have scheduled freakin' southwest montanta state or someone like that. That's the point. I understand these teams weren't good when we scheduled them, but it's not out of the realm of possibility to think they may 2-3 years down the road.

We do get a break in our East rotation too. We get UK to rotate on this year, and we keep UT. UT will be lucky to win 6 this fall. This may be their worst team in modern history with the losses they've had and the change over. Of course we have Vandy too. If you could pick 3 East teams to play, you'd pick the 3 we play this fall. That's just a lucky break.

The OOC schedule is just smart scheduling. Fresno will not be a pushover. They are a consistent bowl team, and they, along with Nevada are always the biggest 2 threats to Boise in the WAC. Tulane, ULL, and Jacksonville State is just smart OOC scheduling.

West Virginia has had only 2 since then. So when exactly did Templeton schedule these schools when they were in the cellar.

that they always get sky high to play a BCS league team. They're actually not all that great in their weak conference. They always lose 1 or 2 conference games they have no business at all losing, in addition to losing to Boise. But when they play a BCS team, it's a different story. And I don't care how much Nutt works to get UM to take Fresno seriously and get up for that game, it's just a fact that Fresno will be more up for that game.

Ark and LSU for the third time in a row? Aren't both games on the road? I see losses in both games. Ok...maybe LSU will be a win because they might have completely fallen apart by then, but I'd say it was unlikely. Down year for Rebels...5-7 maybe 6-6. I thought they'd be 10-2 last year so I don't just pick against them.
