Very sad. One day we might wanna do something about senseless crime like this.
Five gunshot victims, so presumably gang stuff. I assume that means whoever he was with in tennessee was involved in gang stuff up there? Or do the big gangs have enough organization that their dustups are spread across multiple states?
That’s most of the violence in Memphis. Crap like this usually over something stupid.Five gunshot victims, so presumably gang stuff. I assume that means whoever he was with in tennessee was involved in gang stuff up there? Or do the big gangs have enough organization that their dustups are spread across multiple states?
Like actual tough law enforcement? Fathers being present in their kids lives?Very sad. One day we might wanna do something about senseless crime like this.
Yep. Not a whole lot that outside folks can ‘do’. Poster you quoted is trying to virtue signal.Like actual tough law enforcement? Fathers being present in their kids lives?
Yes. Maybe reporting on it at a national level like it matters. But apparently it doesn’t.Like actual tough law enforcement? Fathers being present in their kids lives?
You continue to prove how low your IQ is!!Yep. Not a whole lot that outside folks can ‘do’. Poster you quoted is trying to virtue signal.
Could be but not necessarily. One of my farm hands lost his son to a drive by back in May. Straight A student and a heck of an athlete that was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. One of his friends got in an argument with some other guy so the guy came back with his gang buddies and shot at all of them. His son was the only one that was hit and died on the scene.Five gunshot victims, so presumably gang stuff. I assume that means whoever he was with in tennessee was involved in gang stuff up there? I know it’s easier said than done, but why keep that company?Could be but not necessarily. One of my farm hands lost his son to a drive by back in May. They had just got back from some kind of football camp activity and he happened to be there.I know it’s easier said than done, but why keep that company?
Driving drunk is idiotic and can get you and innocent people killed. I’m willing to bet a good portion of this board did it when younger. When you are young you don’t necessarily see all the possible consequencesI know it’s easier said than done, but why keep that company?
Like actual tough law enforcement?
I know nothing of that life because I didn’t grow up in it so I hear the perspective of the people that do, and some of those guys work for us and I can tell you what you typed is pretty spot on. These young guys have no regard for human life and they don’t care about their own life so gunning someone down because you argued over a card game is a legitimate thing. Most of these kids dont care if they go to jail. They know it will only be a couple three years and it ain't that bad inside. All their uncles and cousins been inside. Jails are too soft apparently. But of course if you made it unpleasant everybody would say it's inhumane. So I guess it's better to just let them keep shooting. Or stabbing. Whichever
No. Of course not. I simply meant hanging around with the kind of guys that may end up in a situation like this.I confess that i did drive drunk and didn't worry about the consequences when I was young but the thought of purposefully killing someone never ever EVER crossed my mind.
What runs me up the wall is "these kind of guys" getting to repeat the same crimes multiple times after they've been caught multiple times. The folks releasing them aren't young they are adults (using the term loosely) . I just can't get my head around this .No. Of course not. I simply meant hanging around with the kind of guys that may end up in a situation like this.
Where alot of this happening there’s not any or very little police presence or they’re just overwhelmed. Also a lot of crime doesn’t get reported because of a fear of retaliation. What runs me up the wall is "these kind of guys" getting to repeat the same crimes multiple times after they've been caught multiple times. Yep. We’re helpless. Not a single course of action is available to us to address gun violence. No country on earth has ever been able to come up with a solution! It’s just a part of life in the world. So frustrating that there is literally nothing we can do about this!Yep. Not a whole lot that outside folks can ‘do’. They will find a way to get guns dude. I get your point. I just think it’s overly idealistic.Yep. We’re helpless. Not a single course of action is available to us to address gun violence. You ain’t been there in a while.I had read elsewhere it happened near Forest Hill Irene and Walnut Grove. That's not a bad part of town compared to much of Memphis area.
Having grown up in Memphis, every part of Memphis is a bad part of town.I had read elsewhere it happened near Forest Hill Irene and Walnut Grove. That's not a bad part of town compared to much of Memphis area.
If you have the solution I'm sure someone would listen to you.Very sad. One day we might wanna do something about senseless crime like this.
I'm in DeSoto Co, we hear about crime in Chicago all the time through local and National media and have for many years, so reporting on it doesn't work.Yes. Maybe reporting on it at a national level like it matters. But apparently it doesn’t.
Well you know I'm here at Nissan in Canton where it's about 85% black. We talk about it some and I'm typically pretty honest in my comments. Thundercats is their wording and it's crazy stuff that pops it off. These trail rides and stuff are dangerous. I have been invited but I'm old school white. Not the place for meI know nothing of that life because I didn’t grow up in it so I hear the perspective of the people that do, and some of those guys work for us and I can tell you what you typed is pretty spot on.
